Olympic National Park

This huge nature park on the west coast of North America, bordering Canada, can be divided into three regions:- The Pacific Coast: A sandy beach which is rugged in some places and is covered with large rocks, together with an adjacent strip of forest. The Olympic Mountains: The mountains are in the center of the national park, surrounded by vast glaciers, the largest of which is the Hoh, almost 5 kilometers long. The temperate rainforest: Features the valleys of Hoh and Quinault. The main trees in the forest are firs and spruces. Moss covers the bark of the trees. It took us one day to reach Port Angeles by ferry.
