Old Township Trail

Located approximately one kilometer east of the village of Durness on the north coast of the Highlands, the path of the old village takes you through the hills along the coast and the cliffs above the North Atlantic. An ancient village once stood here, with the ruins remaining today, complete with some explanatory panels. Past the village you'll come to a hill with a magnificent view of the ocean.
