Old Town Lunenburg
Lunenburg is a small town in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada, about 90 km from Halifax, on the Atlantic coast. The name of the city is in honor of the King of Great Britain, George II, who was also Duke of Brunswick-Lunenburg. Today the city is an important port and shipbuilding center that houses numerous industries. Among them is one of the largest fish processing plants in North America. This city has a strong economy, which is due to its privileged geographical position.
