Old Saint Mary's Cathedral

Located in the heart of Chinatown, San Francisco's famous Chinese district, the Old St Mary's cathedral is undoubtedly one of the oldest monuments in the city and one of the only true historical buildings of San Francisco, which is a fairly modern city. Inaugurated in 1864, it is the oldest cathedral in the whole state of California, and easily recognizable with its curious red brick architecture, which gives it a special and unusual charm.
