Odeon Hotel
We arrived by bus from Caracas Choroní with no idea of where to spend the night, so we started walking around the neighborhood of Altamira where we only found exorbitant prices . We asked around and were told that in Sabana Grande near the downtown area we could get better prices. Thus we came to the hotel where we were charged 150 Venezuelan currency, a bit high for our budget, but we just spent many hours walking with backpacks and it was still far less than other hotels, so we stayed. It was well situated and near the metro, with a decent bar downstairs and a 24 hour reception. It is a simple hotel, multi-story that seems to have been constructed in the 70's, but it's quiet and was a luxury for what we were used to.
