Get your (cheap) sushi fix
There are tons of sushi restaurants in LA County, but if you happen to be in the Glendale area and need a cheap sushi fix, Octopus is the place to go. Its cheapest options are basic eight-piece cut rolls that cost less than $3 (like salmon and spicy tuna). Of course, the fish isn’t super premium at fancier sushi restaurants, but it’s definitely not bad considering the price. Staples like edamame and miso soup are also available here. And there’s also a kids menu, so it’s fun to take the family to eat here without spending too much. If you’re craving bigger, more premium rolls, there are a number of those available on the menu as well at standard price, around $10 or a little more.
The ambiance is also nice with red lights at the bar and blue lights in the booths with white cushioned seats. There’s free 90-minute parking in the structure on Maryland Avenue. Be sure to check this place out if you’re craving some quick sushi! (There's another Octopus location in Burbank if you happen to be in that area.)
