1 review of Ocean City Beach

Ocean City Boardwalk

Ocean City's boardwalk is arguably one of the most well known boardwalks in the country. Built in 1880 and still thriving today, it is a perfect family hot spot filled with numerous mini-golf locations, an amusement park, an arcade house, and of course plenty of shopping opportunities. It stretches for over 2 miles and all along the way there is easy access to one of New Jerseys nicest beaches. Admittedly, it can get rather crowded during the warmer weather seasons but never enough that you hear many complaints about it. If anything, the complaints are usually directed at the overly-friendly seagulls who don't mind waiting (nearby) for you to forget about the two french fries you may have dropped.

It's a clean beach with soft sand, rarely has any jellyfish and very very infrequently have there even been sightings of sharks. On the contrary if you see any fins in the water it is much more likely to belong to a dolphin than a shark.
