Ocean Beach

This is an amazing beach in San Francisco! Be warned: swimming is difficult here, not only in winter but in summer too. Not because of strong currents or large waves, but due to the water temperature! The water is so cold that you can often see sea lions and seals playing in the surf. Occasionally a few dolphins or pelicans appear to catch some fish for dinner, and if you're lucky you may even spot a shark or two. Surfers, picnickers, and lovers of walking alike will find something here.
