Oak On The Green in Bearsted is not a place for a quiet romantic dinner during the weekend, but it is a place to have a fabulous meal in pub setting. The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. It is not cheap pub food, though...they serve everything from mussels to hamburgers and steaks. Everything is freshly prepared from locally grown ingredients.
