Homemade Food in a Touristic Place

When we arrived in Albufeira, the first problem we encountered was with the parking lot, there wasn't a single place available. On top of that it was raining cats and dogs, so we had to find somewhere dry. We parked in the first spot we could find and were lucky that after walking just a few meters we come face to face with the restaurant we were looking for. It's modest, but very cozy with great home cooked food, with seating for about 30. The décor was simple and definitely the best part was the friendliness of the waitress, ve greeted the clientele with great familiarity, everyone was Portuguese except us.

They made a huge effort to speak to us in Spanish, and were very friendly and helpful. We chose a fixed menu for 9 euros a plate with sausage, bacon, eggs and potatoes, very light hehe, but the truth is it was a perfect meal for the freezing cold outside. You could also choose dishes a la cart from the menu, so we opted for lamb chops with salad, and almond cake for dessert. I definitely recommend this place, you can eat well for a good price.
