Nyamirambo Women's Centre

Start your discovery of Kigali at the Nyamirambo Women's Center. The center will take you on a tour of a local neighborhood for 15,000 francs (approx $18 USD). You will visit a local barber shop to see Rwandan hairstyles in action, try out making cassava, and gain an understanding of the history of the neighborhood and the Muslim support. The tour supports the women at Nyamirambo, and during the week you can watch them sew handbags and children's clothes. They are taught sewing skills, English, and have provided a library for the local community with the proceeds from tours and the beautiful items
