New Market of the Encarnación

El parasol de la plaza de la Encarnación guarda muchos secretos en su interior. Esta atrevida intervención en una plaza degradada por el tiempo ha sido un atrevimiento y todo un acierto a mi entender. Ruinas antiguas en la parte inferior, un mercado con 40 puestos y tiendas, un espacio expositivo con capacidad para hacer espectáculos para cientos de personas, restaurantes, lugares de copas y uno de los mejores miradores sobre la ciudad de Sevilla hacen que me haya encantado este proyecto. Este mercado cubierto con pocos años de existencia, alberga desde una joyería hasta 10 fruterías. Con las más modernas instalaciones, su corta existencia hace que falte por completarse alguno de sus puestos.

The hood of the Plaza de la Encarnacion holds many secrets within. This bold intervention in a square degraded by time was a daring and a success in my opinion. Ancient ruins in the bottom, a market with 40 stalls and shops, an exhibition space to accommodate events for hundreds of people, dining, drinks and one of the best vantage points over the city of Seville do I have loved this Project. This covered market with few years of existence, from a jewelry houses up to 10 greengrocers. With the most modern facilities, its short existence makes complete lack of any of their posts.

Situé comme nom l’indique sur la place de la Encarnacion, le Marché de la Encarnacion se trouve donc sous la gaufre de bois géante qui porte le nom de Metropol Parasol. C’est le marché principal de Séville et il faut s’y rendre en matinée pour trouver les meilleurs produits. Boucherie, charcuterie, fromages, fruits et légumes… vous y trouverez forcément votre bonheur pour faire vos courses et vous pourrez même déjeuner sur place si le cœur vous en dit.

Located as the name implies instead of Encarnacion, the Market Encarnacion is therefore under the waffle giant wooden named Metropol Parasol. This is the main market of Seville and you have to get there in the morning to find the best products. Butcher, meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables ... you're bound to find what you want to do your shopping and you can even have lunch there if your heart tells you.
