Here you can sample some of the most eccentric Japanese foodstuffs. The things on sale here are aimed more at locals than foreigners - there are five different types of Japanese radish, from the famous green wasabi paste to the delicious gari. But it's the fish that really can be difficult for the foreign palate to get used to, with dried fish with soy powder and seaweed. There's also candy - crepes made with red beans or sweet pastries with cumin. But there are some flavours that might be more familiar to Europeans, like peanuts in honey. Highly recommended.
