Along the Nine Barrow Down

"Nine Barrow Down" is an elongated hill that makes the northern ridge of the Purbeck Hills on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, England. Chalk is part of the Southern England Chalk Formation. On the crest of Nine Down Neighborhoods is a group of 10 early Bronze Age barrows of different sizes, the 2 biggest ones surrounded by ditches. A wheelbarrow before the Neolithic meets another round of trucks in a lower seaward able to be seen from the settlement of the valley to the south from Swanage . It rises to the top of the Down and then you can walk along of the ridge and down to Corfe by the train station.

There is a great view .To return, you can catch the train or decide to go by foot, whichever you prefer.
