Restaurant and bar tucked up in Southern California's mountains
If you're driving east through Angeles Crest Highway, Newcomb's Ranch is a little more than 20 miles in. It’s frequented by motorcyclists and bicyclists, so it’s not a touristy eatery. It’s got a nice, warm and cozy feel to it with all the wooden furniture and warm lights. It’s the perfect place to get away from the city while still being in the company of others. (It gets quite busy on weekends.) The food, surprisingly, is reasonably priced, given the restaurant’s remote location. The menu is not as elaborate as other restaurants, but that’s a good thing because it takes less time to debate between options.
