New Palace

The Palazzo Nuovo di Bergamo is named in comparison to the Palazzo Vecchio, originally intended to be the headquarters of the city, and was constructed from a design by the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi. It started construction in the early 1600s and was finally completed in 1958.
