Meet the city while eating
One of the best experiences you can have in a new city is looking for the unique elements of its culture. Louisiana is known worldwide for its Cajun Creole cuisine, and no visit to New Orleans would be complete without sampling some! I really enjoyed Antoine's, the oldest restaurant in town, where I had my first taste of gumbo. Then it was on to Leah's bakery to try some praline, then Desire's a bar known for its oysters, where we tried some turtle soup. We also visited the renowned restaurant, The Court of Two Sisters, where we learned about the history of the place. Finally, we tried Divine, where we got to sample delicious ice creams and sorbets.
