Major attraction

New College Lane is a historic street in the centre of Oxford. Ironically, it was named after New College, New College, which is one of the city's oldest schools. It was built in 1914, and when it's open to the public, it fills with people who want to view the old centre. It's assumed that this bridge is like the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, but that wasn't the original plan by the architect Sir Thomas Jackson.
