New Bridge - Homen River

The Roman bridge can be found just over one kilometer away from the Portuguese town called Vila Verde . The bridge crosses the Homen river and is somewhat abandoned and neglected, but the natural landscape struck me even though it was in need of a good cleaning. The calm, crystal clear waters that reigned encouraged me to take some pictures of the area. In place of the bridge there's now a play area, a large open area where you park your car and a bar-restaurant. If you go down a bit to the river to spot the environment, often wrapped in old green trees and bathed in the clear waters of the Homen.
