excellent lookout
This is the most picturesque neighborhood in Crevillente. The village itself is located at the foot of a mountain. The very top is "the calvari" a small humble neighborhood consisting mostly of cave houses, chilly in summer and toasty in the winter, without the help of latest technology. It's funny how in some parts of Spain there are still people living in caves, like thousands of years ago. From the top you can enjoy possibly the best views in town. There's not any viewpoint in particular that you should visit, but there are many places in this small neighborhood that give you a great view. From there you can see the area known as "vega-baja" that marks the southern region of the province of Alicante.
