Rich and well organized
Located in the heart of the Museum District, the National World War Two Museum is one of the newest in the city, having opened in the early 2000's. It is rich and well-organized, providing the visitor with an interesting perspective on the American positions in Asia, which us Europeans often know little about. We also loved the section about the preparation of the Normandy landings, a part of the war that we were rather more familiar with. (Admission $ 16 for adults, $ 8 for students, with discounts for children).
