National Route 66 Museum

The National Route 66 Museum is located in Elk City, Oklahoma. Route 66 served as a main highway linking Santa Monica, California with Chicago, Illinois. Since then, it has been replaced by the interstate highway system. The displays inside the museum show what things were like during the 1950's. It is pretty interesting for any visitors trying to find out more about the history of Route 66. The entrance fee is inexpensive and I would recommend you have a look around.
