Impossible to resist entering it.
The National Portrait Gallery is one of London's most famous museums and it's in a central location, just off Trafalgar Square and behind the National Gallery. It's free, like all public museums in London, and it's almost impossible to resist entering it. It has the aim of displaying portraits of historical personages connected with Britain, which sometimes has prevailed over its artistic value. There are portraits of kings, presidents and other characters in the political and economic life of the country. Temporary exhibitions are also organized.
