This is the only national museum that is dedicated to the performing arts. Inside, it houses a wide variety of photos, documents and other items related to theater, opera, operetta, dance, music and magazine. There are three floors and the museum also has a library.

Con el atractivo que cuenta la historia de un arte tan antiguo y ancestral como el teatro y en particular del teatro español. Lleno de curiosidades... y por si fuera poco instalado en Palacio de los Maestres de la Orden de Calatrava, esos monjes guerreros, que dieron nombre a estas tierras, la primera orden militar de la península y que fueron determinantes en la Reconquita... ¿Alguien da más? Hay que visitarlo.

Por el nombre, en principio, no me llamaba la visita, pero he de reconocer que disfrutamos un buen rato observando trajes y, lo que más me gustó a mí, recreaciones de escenarios y muchas cosas más. Resultó interesante.

By the name, in principle, the visit did not call me, but I must admit I enjoyed watching some fun costumes and what I liked to me, recreations of scenes and much more. It was interesting.
