National Museum of Medieval and Modern Art

The museum may be nice but the people that work there are awful. I was recently in Matera and left stranded by my tour group for hours. Our meeting place was next to the museum. (The group thought I left without them but in reality they left without me). I went into this museum first to use the ladies facilities. The manager told me “Madame this is a museum not a toilet.” Then he said I could use it for 10 euros. Then he changed his mind. Later on I went in again to ask them to dial a local number for me which was that of the tour guide. I had an esim on my phone but I could only use “what’s app” for calls which I didn’t know at the time.
