National Academy of Design Museum

The Upper East Side neighborhood is all about museums! Just past the Jewish Museuem and the Museum of the City of New York, this is the National Academy Museum, also located overlooking Central Park. Like the more famous MET or the Guggenheim Museum, this museum is dedicated to modern art, with a particular emphasis on the works of young, upcoming artists. It is often frequented by students.
