Nandos Southwark Arches

Tras visitar el The Globe se nos había hecho bastante tarde y decidimos ir en busca y captura de un restaurante donde almorzar en la zona del río de camino al HMS Belfast, nuestra siguiente parada. Tras descartar algunos que parecían muy caros, encontramos este Nando's y recordé el comentario que había escrito Guanche, así que decidimos entrar a probar. Es un restaurante tipo fast-food portugués muy recomendable. Como en muchos otros sitios, lo primero que tienes que hacer es elegir una mesa y pedir en la barra con tu número. No sé qué tienen en contra del servicio en mesa estos británicos... Allí pides y al poquito vendrá el camarero con tu pedido. Tienen unas mesas en las que puedes coger todo lo que necesites: cubiertos, servilletas y todas las salsas que quieras, cada una más picante que la anterior. Pedimos el meal platter, que a priori puede parecer poca cosa, pero les aseguro que acabamos llenísimos y satisfechos. Es perfecto para un almuerzo para dos personas y consiste en: un pollo entero,(que puedes pedir picante, muy picante o normal), un acompañamiento en plato grande o dos medianos y dos refrescos que puedes rellenar las veces que quieras. Pedimos el pollo picante y la verdad es que picaba bastante (sin abrasarte la boca), pero no me quiero imaginar cómo estaría el muy picante. Muy recomendable y, como buena franquicia, te puedes encontrar un Nando's casi en cada esquina de Londres, aunque también están repartidos por el resto de Gran Bretaña.

After visiting the Globe we had done quite late and we decided to hunt for lunch at a restaurant near the river on the way to HMS Belfast, our next stop. After excluding some that looked very expensive, we found this Nando's and I remembered the comment I had written Guanche, so we decided to get tested. It's a fast-food restaurant highly recommended Portuguese. As in many other places, the first thing you have to do is choose a table and order at the counter with your number. I do not know what they have against these British table service ... There and ask the waiter to come little checkout. They have a few tables where you can get everything you need: cutlery, napkins and sauces all you want, each hotter than the last. We ordered the platter meal, which a priori may seem a small thing, but I assure you just llenísimos and satisfied. Perfect for a lunch for two people and includes: a whole chicken (you can ask for spicy, very spicy or regular), a large dish accompaniment or two medium and two sodas you can fill the time you want. We ordered the spicy chicken and really quite itchy (no hold you mouth), but I do not want to imagine what would be the very spicy. Highly recommended and, as good franchise, you can find a Nando's almost in every corner of London, but also scattered across the rest of Britain.
