Nagarkot

Nagarkot is located in the Kathmandu Valley, an hour's bus ride away or so. The distance in kilometers is short, going from the bustle of the city to the infinite peace of the mountains in a matter of seconds. The ride is rather bumpy, as the roads are for goats and Nepali buses aren't known for their driving. After a steep curve, we decided to stop and do the last leg of the journey on foot. We almost fell. Despite this small incident, the route is spectacular in every way. Curving uphill until you reach the mountainous area. The road is beautiful. Green valleys full of rice fields. Dream-like thanks to the clouds around us, making us feel close to heaven.
