Dina Huapi es un pueblo que se encuentra en la provincia de Río Negro, en el centro-sur de la República Argentina. Se ubica entre dos ríos: Ñirihuau y Limay, y el lago Nahuel Hapi. Su nombre viene del mapudingún "huapi" que significa "isla" y "Dina" por Dinamarca, ya que de allí son originarios los primeros inmigrantes no europeos. Entonces Dina Huapi significa "Isla Danesa". EL clima de Dina Huapi es frío todo el año, pero contrasta por la calidez y la hospitalidad de sus habitantes. Su mayot atractivo son las rutas de senderismo que existen al Cerro Leones donde hay tres cavernas, que fueron usadas por los habitantes originales como refugio. Se han hallado fogones, puntas de flechas y restos de cerámica, además de pinturas rupestres en estas cuevas. Desde la cumbre del Cerro hay una vista de 360 grados que es espectacular. También son atractivos los deportes náuticos que se practican tanto en el Río Limay como en el Lago Nahuel Huapi: kitesurf, pesca deportiva, windsurf o kayak son sólo algunos ejemplos.
Dina Huapi is a town located in the province of Black River in south central Argentina. It is located between two rivers and Limay Ñirihuau, and Lake Nahuel Hapi. Its name comes from mapudingún "huapi" which means "island" and "Dina" by Denmark, since there are originally the first non-European immigrants. Then Dina Huapi means "Danish Island". Dina Huapi climate is cold all year, but contrasts the warmth and hospitality of its inhabitants. Its appeal mayot are hiking trails that exist Cerro Leones where there are three caves, which were used by the original inhabitants as a refuge. They have been found hotplates, arrowheads and pottery shards, plus paintings in these caves. From the summit of Cerro is a 360 degree view is spectacular. are also attractive water sports practiced both in the Limay River and Lake Nahuel Huapi: kite surfing, sport fishing, windsurfing and kayaking are just a few examples.
