Mykonos

Chora (Mykonos Town) is the largest town of the island of Mykonos, that world famous Greek island. It is the most cosmopolitan island of Greece and attracts thousands of visitors from around the world. Access to the island are obtained from Athens by ferry, which runs three times a day, or by plane. Also if you take a cruise around the islands the cruise ship will most certainly dock at Mykonos. You can start exploring at the port and walk the waterfront where you will find small boats, especially fishing boats, where you will see many octopi hanging on the masts. Still walking down the small bay full of small bars and restaurants, make sure to take a picture with Petrus, the famous pelican, totally friendly to visitors.

This beautiful island, on which you could spend hours getting lost on a relaxing and quiet stroll around its beautiful and quiet streets, or chattering with its open and friendly people. In the photos you can see the breaking waves with a wonderful background, what they call "Little Venice".

The small Greek town of Mykonos is the ideal place to get lost in the tranquility of its white streets, painted white facades and its great beaches with crystal clear waters.
