European cities always seem to want to focus their cultural offerings in the smallest possible space (a perfect example is the Madrid Art Triangle, that started with three points: Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofia, and has expanded to include Caixaforum and Fundación Mapfre among other sites). Vienna is no exception, with the famous Museumsquartier neighbourhood. In the MQ, as the Viennese call it, you can find more than fifty options showcasing art and contemporary culture. Therea are both big and small galleries and incredible meccas to art, like the Leopold Museum, MUMOK or Kunsthall.
