Museum of the Cathedral and Cloister

The Senate is attached to the Viseu Cathedral and it is the Cathedral Museum. The cloister has two floors and was built in the Middle Ages but was modified in the 16th and 17th centuries.The side door that leads to the Cathedral, a Roman-Gothic style of the 14th century, which belonged to the first cathedral and having thereon an image in low relief of the Virgin and Child. Also noteworthy are the panels with floor tiles in the cloister. The views from the side corridor of the cloister of the hotel Adro da Se are spectacular.
