Museum of San Francesco

The Museo di san francesco (Avellino) was opened in 1981 and subsequently expanded. The museum currently houses the works received from the countries most affected by the earthquake in 1980. The museum remains open every day from 9.00 to 14.30. Admission is free. After the earthquake in 1980, pictures and paintings of the destroyed churches can be found here.
