The Museo di Palazzo Ducale (Mantova) has Gonzaga paintings representing the expulsion of Domenico Morone Bonacolsi and the cycle of 9 tapestries representing stories from the Acts of the Apostles that decorated the palatine basilica of Santa Barbara .It has a collection of antique statues, largely from the palaces and villas of Sabbioneta Marmirolo. There is also a large sample of household goods and furniture of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century.
