A great collection
The Museum of Decorative Arts in Bordeaux is on Bouffard Street, behind the Town Hall. It's an interesting place, with collections of paintings, sculptures and miniatures, as well as furniture, ceramics and household items. Lalande Palace, which houses the collections of the museum, was built in 1779, and has a beautiful courtyard and gardens. The museum has a rich collection representing the French decorative art tradition, especially the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in the region of Bordeaux. There are three floors, which were renovated in the 80's. A great collection.
