An interesting museum
The NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale is in the city center, along with the University. You can find it by the brightly colored walls that mark its exterior. There's a coffee shop at the entrance which I found great; they serve sandwiches, salads and some desserts, and everything is very tasty. You can take home the leftovers, too (a common practice in the US). The museum is very expensive, it costs $10 to see the permanent exhibition and one or two temporary exhibitions. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photos inside, but what I saw was very cool and unusual. We asked for the guided tour, which I really think is essential to understand the exhibits.
