Museo di arte sacra was intended to be a new tourist attraction for the area. Its goal was to become a space in which visitors could contemplate religious art. The sample consists of objects and religious images that were found in a storage room of the parish church of Santa Maria Maggiore: the tomb of the García de Vargas, the altarpiece of Santa Ana.
