Museum of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide 1992-1995

Uno de los lugares que yo consideraría como indispensables para cualquiera que visite la ciudad de Sarajevo es el Museo del Genocidio y los Crímenes en Contra de la Humanidad. Se encuentra al oeste del casco histórico, y es el lugar más informativo e imparcial para entender las causas, los sucesos y las repercusiones de la Guerra de Bosnia que terminó hace poco más de veinte años. One of the places that I would consider indispensable for anyone visiting the city of Sarajevo is the Museum of Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity. It is located west of the historic center, and is the most informative and impartial place to understand the causes, events and repercussions of the Bosnian War that ended just over twenty years ago. In addition to the numerous informative posters, the site is full of belongings of the victims who died during the conflict, as well as a reconstruction of the cells that were used to imprison opponents and political prisoners. The permanent exhibition of the place tells the events of the war chronologically, so after leaving, you can have a much clearer idea of ​​what happened during those years, and walk the streets of the city with more information. The Bosnian War has been one of the bloodiest conflicts of recent decades, so this site is hard enough but essential to understand the past and present of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
