Museo dei Fossili E Minerali del Monte Nerone

This museum is in Pesaro, Marche and is considered a jewel by naturalists and scientists. It continues to hold one of the most important collections of ammonites in Europe, including unique specimens of their species such as Hybopeltoceras Pavia. You should also have a look at the other collections of the late Roman period. These include stone tools, fossilized skulls and bones of cave bears, elephants and other vertebrates. There is also a small room devoted to anthropology.
