Well worth visiting

The Museum of London is little known but well worth visiting. Like most other museums in the British capital, it's free, and if you want to know more about the history of London, this is the place to go. Upon entering, I was struck by the large hand-drawn city map which shows the oldest shops in London. The tour starts with the prehistoric era and moves through the Roman period. Then comes the most interesting part, the plague striking the city, the war years, Beatlemania, Jack the Ripper (with cards offering information about potential suspects). The most vivid part is the area about the Second World War, with a sirens and the sound of explosions and screams, together with a video about survivors.

Finally, you'll finish with a look at the future of London. I really recommend this museum. I wanted to stay longer, and honestly, I usually find history quite boring! But this museum is interactive and fun, well worth visiting.

Museum of London

The Museum of London is one of the free museums that you can visit in the city of London. It is highly recommended if you are interested in the history of the city since the collections show London from prehistoric times to the present day. It contains authentic objects, tables, diagrams, interactive displays and activities for children. Some of the most interesting collections are the reproductions of the Roman city, examples of vintage dresses, reproductions of the Great Fire of London, and examples of the fashion revolution of the 60s. The museum is located in the Barbican, in an area destroyed

During the Second World War, and is easily accessible from all areas of the city.
