I recommend it 100%

I went to this restaurant because ofthe great recommendations I read on minube, among other reason. I was not disappointed at all, everything was very tasty. According to what I understood, it is one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in Madrid. It is really small, better play it safe and reserve a table before going.

I will not start talking about Japanese techniques, it is enough to know what sashimi or wasabi is. I will tell you that the menu is very "pure" in terms of aesthetics but also very practical and complete. There are various dishes from which you can choose. If you do not like sushi, it is not a problem, there are many other things like teriyaki chicken (very good).

A discovery!

If you think all Japanese restaurants are expensive and that you'll still be hungry afterwards, Musashi will go against all prejudices. This hidden restaurant is located between Callao and Santo Domingo and since it opened a few years ago it is a place of reference in Madrid Japanese cuisine scene.

For 15€ it is possible to have the most traditional Japanese dinner (tempuras, sushi, mostly fish, miso soup, teriyakis...) of good quality and nice and fast service. You should not expect great decoration on the facade nor inside, but does it matter when the food is good?

It is usually very busy at lunch rush hours and there is a set meal for about 11€ I also highly recommend. The best? Going for dinner at 9 or 9.30 pm and quietly enjoy the exquisite Japanese food without making your wallet shake.

Very cheap but good quality

Excellent

One of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Madrid. It is known as Japotalego, even though its real name is Musashi. You can already imagine why it is called this way (in Spanish "talego" means a thousand pesetas, which is cheap), it is cheap but the quality of the food is good. The restaurant is small, it is not the typical Japanese restaurant where the decoration is very well cared (you actually eat on a paper table cloth) but the most important is the quality of the food.

+2

It's truly great

Very good location, with a small terrace for when the weather is nice, it is the ideal Japanese restaurant. They do not serve only raw fish, there is a bit of everything: veal, chicken, vegetables... The price is quite affordable (careful, we are talking about a Japanese restaurant.. It is not the same as Chinese) and there is a great variety of tapas. The truth is it is absolutely worth it.
