Tampa Mountain

The city of Brasov sits in the foothills of Mount Tampa, a nature reserve of 370 hectares in the Carpathian Mountains. You can access this park with a Cable as walking through the trails (about one hour to reach the top). In addition to the vegetation and forests that make up its flora, various wild animals such as foxes and lynx, as well as many birds and butterflies live there. Upstairs there is a gazebo and a panoramic restaurant. Mount Tampa is a historic place since it was one of the seven castles of Transylvania built in the 13th century, a walled and two towers of the fifteenth century, and the aqueduct of the city.
