Wonderful roses
The Municipal Rose Gardens in San Jose is now dedicated solely to the 189 varieties of rose bushes. The roses that are here include those from the Cuenta family and mini roses. Many are hybrid blends and comprise 75 percent of the collection. Roses are at their peak in May and June, but continue to flourish until October.
