1 review of Multicultural Fair (Arcomún)

A cultural experience to repeat

Excellent

This Traveling exhibition, held every year in different cities of Galicia and across Spain to celebrate Columbus Day, was held in Viveiro from 8 to 17 October 2010 both craftsmen with different activities such as those of gastronomy. Here I could see representatives of Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Ecuador and European countries like Poland, the host country Spain in this city in Galicia and also France. There were around 20 colorful stalls between the kiosk between the stage of the music and the Bridge of Mercy. There were some pieces of jewelry made with recycled jewelry, the Colombian was original, made with yarn bracelets, handmade sweets and alfajores, river pearl necklaces, tablecloths not smear or wet or soiled, something like science fiction do not you think?, counters with wooden beads for kids, small toy parts original models scale modeled, scarves, rosaries, handbags, toys, blankets, masks, clocks, hand painted brushes, etc..

At dusk and at night, and in the Plaza Mayor, but with little light exposure was performed participating countries typical food and very fair prices. There was food of Senegal, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Tajin, Paraguay, Galicia, Sahara, Honduras, Peru, Sarmale, Colombia, Algeria, Argentina, Chile, etc.. The tables were arranged in the center of the square, there was paid and clearing the food. There was also a large table in which the tiniest drew and painted under the watchful eye of qualified personnel. Really an experience to repeat. All data from the Council of Vivero
