A hidden village
This is another popular day-trip destination in Sardinia and it's worth a visit not just for its historical and archaeological value, but also for the landscapes.
The routes to get to Tiscali pass through a karstic landscape which means that it's not recommendable to go on rainy or excessively hot days. Then the temperature is reasonable, it does make for a very lovely hike. The route ends with some excellent views of the valley and the hidden ruins. The ruins are ruins, but they're enough for you to get an idea of the layout of the town and how these people adapted to such a uncompromising landscape.
