Mount Hua (Huashan in Chinese) is one of the five sacred Taoist mountains situated in China. It has five peaks, but the highest peak is 2160 meters high. Along the roads between the different areas you can find small temples and chapels where you can find comfort or pray for our success on arriving at the summit. The pilgrimage to this mountain is famous for the difficulty involved in reaching the highest peak, as in many sections you have to walk through gateways that are just a few inches with only the support of a thick rope to grab on to so as not to fall (don´tlook down or you will fall, I imagine).
