Mother Church of Taipas
Caldas das Taipas has two churches, the main church which is called Mother Church, and oldeer Velha Church. The Mother Church is in the vicinity of the Spa next to the gardens. It is a neoclassical temple, built by the Earl of Agrolongo and opened in 1915. It has a slender bell tower topped with a spire, and the main entrance is preceded by an atrium. The interior is very bright, with several windows. It has a vaulted ceiling and three naves separated by arches. The interior walls are clad with tiles and the main altar has a depiction of the crucifixion.

It has a thin bell tower crowned with a spire, and before the main entrance there is an atrium. The interior is very bright with several windows covered by stained glass. It has a vaulted ceiling and three naves separated by arches. The interior walls are covered with a tiled plinth. A Crucifix presides over the main alter.
