Mosaics and Frescoes in Pompeii
This photo shows that more than a few of us like our past as human beings. We should all take into accout the past when looking towards a better future. This mosaic is spectacular and depicts the battle of Issus (The Macedonians of Alexander the Great in front against the Persian Commander Darius III, in 333 BC) was found in Pompeii in one of the richest villas in the city. It's amazing walking around ,and discovering wonders of everyday as if time had stopped. Pompeii was buried by the violent eruption of Vesuvius on 24 August 79 AD. C.
