Morichal

Después de nuestra llegada a [poi=3617898]Tucupita[/poi], viajar por [poi=3617905]Caño Manamo[/poi] hacia nuestra [poi=3616664]posada, [/poi]partimos al día siguiente rumbo a la comunidad de Morichal. Warao (Gente de las embarcaciones), son una comunidad indígena que habita en los caños del Delta, y cuya forma de subsistencia "actual" es el turismo, la casa, la pesca, la recolección y la artesanía. Uno creería que, en su totalidad, se trata de personas totalmente diferentes a nosotros (primitivas), pero de verdad tienen mucho que enseñarnos. Algunos tienen la posibilidad -por cercanía- a los centros poblados o a las comunidades más numerosas, de recibir educación. Otros reciben formación técnica y hay quienes han abandonado su tierra, para migrar a las grandes capitales y formarse profesionalmente. Hoy en día, estas comunidades merecen de nuestra atención, su arte, su gentileza, su gastronomía es inmensamente rica. En esta comunidad, gracias nuestra intérprete Aracelis, pudimos disfrutar de todo esto, navegar en curiara y aprender un poco sobre la recolección de los frutos. Apreciamos fauna local (como el pequeño cunaguaro) y descubrimos que podemos colaborar con ellos, valorando su trabajo hecho a mano, para nosotros, para ustedes. Así que, ¿qué esperan? Los invito a conocer esta región de Venezuela!!!

After our arrival in Tucupita, travel Cao Manamo to our inn, we left the next day toward Morichal community. Warao (People of the vessels), are a indgena community living in the chaos of the Delta, and whose way of "current" livelihood is tourism, gardening, fishing, and artisan recoleccin. One might believe that it is totally different to us (primitive) people, as a whole, but really have much to teach us. Some have the possibility -for cercana- to population centers or more numerous communities, to receive education. Others receive technical training and some have abandoned their land to migrate to big cities and professionally trained. Today, these communities deserve our attention, his art, his gentleness, his gastronomy is immensely rich. In this community, through our interpreter Aracelis, we could enjoy all this, navigate in canoe and learn a little about the recoleccin of fruits. We appreciate local wildlife (like the ocelot small) and found that we can collaborate with them, assessing their handwork, for us, for you. As that what you expect?
