Fanyfa
Most emotional spot in the city
I certainly believe that this monument is the most interesting I've seen in years. At first glance, it isn´t much. It was built to honor those lost during World War I. Every day at 6 pm, the bells ring 21 times in their memory and the citizens and the streets of Savona stop what they´re doing to pay tribute -- the city traffic and everything else included. The monument is in the center of town, near the shopping and major streets. If you can, go here to see with your own eyes.
